Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs your use of all services provided by Jet Space Private Limited (“JetSpace”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”), including hosting, server, email, and SSL services (collectively, the “Services”).
This AUP is incorporated by reference into the JetSpace Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the meanings assigned to them in the Terms of Service.
JetSpace reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.

1. General Use Policy

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including the laws of Sri Lanka.
Any use of the Services that exposes JetSpace to legal, operational, reputational, or security risk is strictly prohibited. JetSpace reserves the right to suspend or terminate Services without notice where necessary to protect its systems, customers, or legal standing.
You agree to indemnify and hold JetSpace harmless from any claims arising from your use of the Services.

2. Prohibited Uses

Illegal, Harmful, or Fraudulent Activity

You may not use the Services to host, transmit, store, or distribute content or engage in activity that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or fraudulent, including but not limited to:

• Disclosure of sensitive personal data without authorization;
• Distribution of malware, ransomware, spyware, trojans, or malicious code;
• Phishing, identity theft, impersonation, or social engineering attacks;
• Money laundering or financial fraud;
• Sale or distribution of controlled substances or illegal pharmaceuticals;
• Unlawful gambling operations;
• Ponzi schemes, pyramid schemes, HYIP, MLM, FOREX scams, or similar activities;
• Hosting or linking to scam, fraud, or deception-based websites;
• Selling weapons, ammunition, or explosives
• Hosting content that promotes or facilitates violence or criminal activity.

Child Exploitation and Abuse Material

Zero tolerance

Any content involving child sexual abuse, exploitation, or imagery that is potentially harmful to minors is strictly prohibited. Accounts found in violation will be immediately suspended or terminated without notice and reported to appropriate law enforcement authorities.

Intellectual Property Violations

You may not host or distribute content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other intellectual property rights of third parties.
Reports of infringement may be submitted to abuse@jetspace.lk and will be handled in accordance with JetSpace’s Infringement Policy.

Unauthorized Access and Network Abuse

You may not use the Services to:

• Gain unauthorized access to systems, networks, or data;
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of any system without authorization;
• Conduct Denial of Service (DoS or DDoS) attacks;
• Intercept or monitor data without permission;
• Operate anonymous proxy services, VPN endpoints, or TOR exit nodes;
• Run IRC bots, file-sharing services, or similar applications;
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, index, or monitor systems without authorization.

Resource Abuse

Use of the Services in a manner that consumes excessive CPU, memory, disk, network, or other resources and negatively impacts system stability or other customers is prohibited.
JetSpace reserves the right to limit, throttle, suspend, or require service upgrades where excessive usage is detected.

Adult Content

Hosting or distribution of pornographic or adult content, escort services, or sexually explicit material is prohibited.

Storage Misuse

The Services are designed to host active websites and related services only. Using hosting services as a backup repository or file storage platform is prohibited.
JetSpace reserves the right to remove backup files or stored data that violate this policy.

3. Zero-Tolerance Spam Policy

JetSpace maintains a zero-tolerance policy toward spam.
You may not use the Services to send unsolicited bulk email, spam, or messages that violate applicable anti-spam laws, including the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act or similar regulations.
Prohibited activities include:

• Purchased, rented, or scraped mailing lists;
• Email harvesting;
• Spamvertised websites;
• Activities that result in IP blacklisting.

Accounts involved in spam activity may be immediately suspended or terminated without notice.

4. Defamation and Objectionable Content

JetSpace is not a publisher of user content and does not routinely monitor content.
However, JetSpace reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disable or remove content where it reasonably believes such content:

• Causes harm to others;
• Exposes JetSpace to legal risk;
• Violates applicable law or policy.

A court order may be required for certain takedowns, but JetSpace may act proactively where necessary.

5. Enforcement

JetSpace may take enforcement action including, without limitation:

• Warning notices;
• Suspension or termination of Services;
• Removal of content;
• Reporting to law enforcement authorities.

Failure to respond to compliance communications within forty-eight (48) hours may result in suspension or termination.
JetSpace reserves the right to enforce or not enforce this AUP at its sole discretion.
